Suntaleykhola

Suntaleykhola is a beautiful site for excursion. The word is made up of two words Suntaley and Khola. The literal meaning is Orange and stream respectively. This tourist destination Suntaleykhola is situated on the northern part of Dooars and is a scenic place for tourist to spend some time. One can just idle here; it is a place ideal for leisure holiday and a place especially for guest who prefers isolation and peace. This place of Suntaley Khola, Bindu, Jaldhaka, Chapramari, Neora valley forms a circuit. It is generally used as a day excursion.

Guest can visit this place from either of the nearby destinations. This region forms an excursion for tourist staying in Lataguri, Dhupguri, Chalsa or Malbazar. They are all nearby and can be visited staying in any one of the resorts nearby. It is a small settlement in the hills with scenic beauty and green surroundings. It is best to visit from October to April. Otherwise it can also be enjoyed any time of the year, specially the monsoon. Rocky Island is a nice place nearby for group and large family outings / excursions.
