Jayanti

Jayanti is inside the Buxa tiger Reserve and is named after the river Jayanti. Jayanti is the name of the river which passes through Buxa Tiger reserve and practically acts as the border between India and the neighboring Kingdom of Bhutan.  Jayanti is very popular among tourist. This tourist hotspot is situated inside the Buxa Tiger reserve and is situated in the banks of river Jayanti and has many options for adventure lovers and nature lovers. The options for tourist to this region are many. Religious, Honeymoon, Leisure, Birding, Angling, etc are some of them. At Jayanti one can stay near any of the bank and observe herds or stray elephants, leopards and Deer’s visiting the river for water during dawn or sunset.
